Welcome to Hindu Helpline (HHL). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Hindu Helpline application, website, and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Service.

1. Interpretation and Definitions

  • Application or Service refers to the Hindu Helpline software program, web portal, and associated features.
  • Organization refers to Hindu Helpline, Gujarat, India (referred to as either "the Organization", "We", "Us", or "Our").
  • Country refers to Gujarat, India.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the organization on behalf of which such individual accesses the Service.

2. User Account and Profile

To make recurring monthly donations (seva) or interact with certain services, you must register a donor profile. Registration requires verifying your mobile number via a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile device.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3. Razorpay Subscription & Recurring Contributions

To support our social welfare helpline activities, you may choose to set up a monthly recurring contribution (subscription) through our Donation Dashboard.

  • Auto-Debits (E-Mandates): By initiating a subscription, you authorize Hindu Helpline and our payment processor, Razorpay, to set up a recurring payment mandate (e-mandate) on your chosen payment instrument (Card, UPI, or Netbanking) in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) e-mandate guidelines.
  • Billing & Cycle: Your payment instrument will be automatically debited at monthly intervals for the selected contribution amount until you pause or cancel the subscription.
  • Subscription Management: You have full control over your monthly contributions. You can pause, cancel, or update your contribution amount at any time by logging into the Donation Dashboard. Once successfully paused or cancelled, no further auto-debits will be processed. No cancellation fee is applicable.
  • Secure Processing Partner: All donation and subscription transactions are securely processed via Razorpay Software Private Limited. Hindu Helpline does not store or process your complete card numbers, bank passwords, or credentials on its servers.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Hindu Helpline provides support and helpline referral services in good faith to assist those in need.

  • We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the services or solutions provided by third-party volunteers, helpers, or external service providers referred to you.
  • Any reliance you place on such information or referred services is strictly at your own risk.
  • In no event shall the Organization be liable for any loss or damage, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising out of or in connection with the use of this Service.

5. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Gujarat, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India.

6. Changes to These Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
